I think if you got 50 in bus man you're more than capable of getting 40+ in legal, i've heard they're similar subs and all, so don't completely discount it. I was exactly the same as you in that i saw no point in studying as much for the subs that were going to be in my bottom 2 so i concentrated on the ones i knew were gonna be in my top four (still somehow managed 40+ in both by bottom 2 subs though so don't underestimate yourself)
At the same time though i wouldn't ignore it completely because you never know, come exam time you might screw up one of your other exams and it's good to have a back-up. Ignoring 2 of my subs made me heaps more stressed when it came to my legal/french/eng exams cos i was like oh shit i have to do good in this exam or i'm screwed!
How sure are you that it will be in your bottom 2?

Well I guess all I did was stay up to date with my work and do a lot of reading of the text book. I was big on doing questions at the start of the year but towards the end I kinda just started focusing on understanding the stuff and applying it to prac exams and prac exam questions.
I don't think you should neglect legal. You seem to have the potential to do very well in it. Whats your ENTER aim?

wow thanks, that's really good advice, i hadn't thought of that!
Hmm..now that you mention it, I'm not 100% sure legal will be in bottom 2. Perhaps I'm overestimating my ability in accounting, just because I did well in Yr 11. Also, maybe I'll make heaps of silly mistakes in Further. So yeah, I think it'll be good to have legal as a backup subject, and I'll probably try harder now.

I want to get into Commerce at Melbourne, so I need min 96. But a 98 would be great!

That doesn't stop you from achieving!
I think a lot of people who do well in legal are in year 11. In my class there were 3 people who got over 40. All of us were in year 11.

Yeah, it's always the Yr 11s who do better because they can focus on just one subject, and kinda neglect everything else like I did lol. I know in Bus man, the yr 11s did waayyy better than the Yr 12s.

yer year 11s tend to do better on those subjects that usually don't require units 1&2 to do well in because they usually tend to be easier and with that they favour the year 11s as year 12s obviously have more subjects that majorly affect them and it requires them to put in alot of effort in every subjects whereas the year 11 can mainly focus on that one subject.

ehh sounds good to me.
