I only have three certificates that I'm bringing into the interview and don't do any extracirricular activities, whilst all my peers have racked up so many ribbons and awards throughout the last few years... I'm so worried about how this will impact my chances of gaining entry.

Idk if it's true, but my friend who tried out last year said that if the person who interviews likes your personality, you have higher odds of getting in. So, yes the interviewer pretty much decides if you get in?
