But the answer for the sum of the first column was 49. Right?
Were you supposed to include the 6 which was substituted with dots.

Hm? That is just 1+2+3...+10, which equals 11*5 = 55...

It was only a small fraction of the interview stage - don't think it will have a huge effect. 
If you did a quite lengthy talk with your interviewer you would've done well, i think xd

How did the question about population in the one on one interview go? What did u guys come up with?

The more people, the more food demand. Agriculture causes soil degradation and one day in the future, land may run out to utilise for food.

The more our population, the more our ozone layer weakens and Australia’s ozone layer is already weaker than the ones on other countries.

Well I said that the more the population increases, the more the natural resources of the earth is in demand sort of like oil and coal
And I gave an example that if oil were to run out because of the increasing population then science could help to make alternatives such as bio fuel idk :/

I said that increasing population -> more transportation because people would have to live further from the CBD (more fossil fuels used, ruining of environment - solution: biofuel, other renewable energy)

We have a 10*10 grid where the first column/row is 1-10 and the last is 10-19.

I did this:
1(1)+2(2)+3(3)... +2(18)+1(19)
= 1(1+19)+2(2+18)...+10(10)
=1(20)+2(20)+...9(20)+10(10)
= 20+40+60...+180+100
Then
= 200*5
=1000

I think they might get offers depending on how many first round people accept their offers.

If you think about it 450-500 people are selected in total
Although I don’t know the numbers there was probs 200 girls, 250 boys or vice versa to the approx.
so for each gender it’s not much of a competition as around 100 get in for male and female.

However we don’t know what might happen😭

I am so much free time on my hands. All I am doing in that time is stressing out
