6 PM- School displays at foyer, opportunity to talk to teachers
6.30-Main doors open at Auditorium
7- presentation
8.30 questions.
They said to arrive at least 20 minutes early and park in SE1, SE3 and SE5

Lots of info on the JMSS website as well as the beginning of this forum. There are also  a lot of current JMSS students active like ShadeStache who you can ask for help.

Also to you guys who are in JMSS, how effective is team-teaching?

It's a very different approach -- and also a very interesting one. In my opinion, it surprisingly works well. For those of you who don't know, JMSS does a "team-teaching" thing where two classes combine and there are two teachers. Usually, one teacher will do most of the teaching. The other teacher sometimes walks around and you can ask them for help. Although there's like 50 students in the classroom, it doesn't feel like it.

Sorry man, I don't really have anything. I seriously can't stress this enough to a lot of people, but you don't need to study a lot for the test. You don't need to spend an significant amount of money or time on tests. This is coming from a student that "tryharded" for the test. Don't be an idiot like me

Hey shadestache or anyone at JMSS, what kind of test scores did you get through high school? I'm about a 75% average on my Maths (Accelerated) and about 80% for science and 85% for english.

Also, does JMSS get as stressful and difficult as I'm told? And will I still have time for games and friends?

Test scores at your current school aren't relevant IMO. Just try not to fail anything and work on building up extra-currics. But fyi, I average 90-100% on my tests at my old school.
I can't speak for others, but for me personally, I don't think it's *generally* too difficult or stressful. But I think it's reasonably difficult to do *well*. There's definitely a heavier workload, but it's really not too bad, and if you're not aiming to get a crazy high average then there's plenty of time for fun and socialising.

What is the pattern of JMSS entrance exam? I have heard, exam includes Science reasoning and essay writings, along with standard, Maths and English. Is there anyone who can help with patter of exam?
