Hi everyone. I'll keep this short and simple. :)

-  If all goes well, i plan on doing a BA/LLB next year
-  However i'm unsure of what to major in for Arts
-  I'm currently tossing between Criminology and Sociology

I was wondering if those who have done Criminology/Sociology could shed some light and chuck a ratings on the subjects.

Cheers.

Hey so I did criminology in my first semester and I really didn't like it. The first subject you do is Understanding crime and like most 1st year subjects it cover many areas quite superficially but even knowing this I still didn't enjoy it. From what I have heard that Crim does get better from 2nd year onwards. Older students have told me if you are able to stick it out in first year crim will be quite rewarding later on.

I have heard quite similar things about sociology though I haven't done it.

If you have any specific questions about first year crim let me know. :)
