Hm... it also has the added benefit of giving some good data (prices) about supply and demand of timetabling, which means the university could provide a more relevant service in the future. I doubt alloc8 keeps in mind how many failed attempts there are to access the 12pm tutorial for Introductory Microeconomics.

It's an interesting concept - except it would make the process of building a timetable that much more time consuming.

I'm not sure whether THAT will be a good thing from the student point of view.
