Title: 90+ ATAR possible??
Post by: TheIllusion on February 11, 2019, 07:57:29 pm
Hello AN,
I just wanted to know what sort of grades I would be looking for if I am going for an ATAR over 90.
Unfortunatley, my subjects are scaled down quite a lot.
My subjects are as follows;

English 3/4
Revolutions 3/4 (Distance Ed)
Further Mathematics 3/4
Mathematical Methods 3/4
Software Development 3/4 (Distance Ed)

Due to the low VCE subject range offered at my school, I did not complete any 3/4 subjects during year 11.
What are the best ways to work towards this goal? What grades should I be aiming for?

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks :)

A link to the 2018 scaling reports is here -> https://www.greekcommunity.com.au/gocmv_public/images/stories/pdfs/2019/schools/2018scalingreport.pdf

The report gives you a view of how the different subjects are scaled, as well as a scaled aggregate to ATAR table (scroll down to bottom)

Please note: This is a report for 2018 and it differs from year to year.

Play on the ATARNOTES calc + Aim for the highest grade you can get for each SAC.
