I really did not like the probability questions. I thought they were a bit out of place.

What do you guys think the 'minimum' that will be needed in exam 1 to get:

a) 50
b)45
c) 40
d) 35
e) 30
oping for an ENTER of 99+

the probability questions were hard. LOL lost about 3 marks on them  :?

how did people go about drawing the derivative graph for question 3? Open-circles for all end-points?

Yep, I did open-circles for all end-points, because the derivative is not defined at end-points.

I think A+  will be in the 34-36 range. This is because heaps of people I know did not finish the paper or attempt the last question.

Last years was around 37, and i think this years exam was harder, so i'm predicting a cut off of around 34

I thought that an A+ is defined as between 42 and 50, and it just depends what percentage constitutes as an A+. Bearing that in mind, I think that an A+ will be around 88% - 100%. But, who knows? It depends on how hard Part 2 is going to be.

All I know is, I mucked up some of the easier questions because I was being stupid, and I got the harder ones like the last one correct. So very, very annoying!
