Is commerce at Monash that bad?

Hey all, I’ve been looking forward to doing commerce but after talking to the siblings of my friends who did commerce at Monash, I realised that everyone I talked to did not like the degree. Is this true to an extent?

That's a pretty large sample size right there buddy.

But I have to admit for the most part it is a bit of a drag if you don't like commerce enough (applies to a surprising number of students studying commerce here) and if you are not willing to apply yourself in uni/co-curricular activities, otherwise it's fantastic. Obviously depends on what you're majoring in though. (source: personal experience) I think the vibe in Monash BCom itself plays a big role, and sometimes you do get the negative ends of the stick when it comes to meeting people which in turn would affect your motivation to study, but if you can refrain from succumbing to the environment and all its negatives you'll be fine tbh. pleasehelp
