VCE Notes official exams Vs VCE Notes Viki

As many of you would be aware, VCE notes has some exciting initiatives planned for this year including the implementation of VCE Viki and the distribution of official VCE Notes exams to all schools.

Unfortunately due to time constraints placed upon enwiabe (Dan), he will be unable to have his Maths Methods and Specialist exams completed before the university semester break concludes. As a direct consequence, it has been reluctantly proposed by him that the VCE Viki be pursued at the expense of these VN exams. Hence, the release of these exams has been postponed until 2009.

It was initially arranged that;
*Enwiabe would constuct exams 1 and 2 for Maths Methods and Specialist Mathematics
*Costa would produce an exam for Legal Studies
*Excalibur would produce an exam for I.T.
*Eriny and myself would construct an exam for unit 4 psychology

As already stated, due to time constraints it has been decided that the exams be placed on the backburner until 2009, while more time is invested in constructing the VN Viki.

Despite discussion with enwiabe, I am very disappointed in this decision as I had invested a great deal of time and effort into producing these exams. Enwiabe and Costa have also invested huge amounts of time into producing their exams. I would like to see these exams released this year for the benefit of THIS year's students!

I am therefore calling upon the VN population to cast their vote. Which would you rather?

Exams OR Viki?

Make the right choice  :)

It's hard to make a choice because I don't really know what the Viki is all about.

Viki is
Quote
- What is the VCE?
- Choosing the right units + VCAA unit regulations
- School Assessed Coursework (SAC) and SAT
- The General Achievement Test (GAT)
- ENTER + Scaling (amalgamated into one article)
- Assessment and Statement of Marks.
- Achievement, motivation, resources and tips
- VTAC and the tertiary application process

A lot of this is available online so this basically bundles it together.

Exams are priceless :D

I would prefer the exams mainly because the VIKI stuff would not really be relevant to me this year (from what costargh has said it seems to be more for educating future students about the VCE system)

The Viki is something that can be implemented later down the track- most of the information is available at the VCAA website anyway.

If released this year, these exams will put VCE Notes on the market as a provider of top quality exams- why wait til next year?

How is it possible to send the exams to every school in Victoria? It would cost quite a lot wouldn't it? (unless it's done electronically which would require a lot of effort?)
