VCE Biology Dot Point Workbooks

Hi guys,
Have just heard about the vce bio dot point workbooks. Someone told me that I should purchase it for my Year 12 because by answering the questions you provided yourself with a complete set of course notes that would be enough to get a very high (45+) study score. I'm not sure this is true, and please don't think I am mean for saying this, because the person in particular is not a particularly high achieving student.
Anyway, could someone please tell me what are the merits of purchasing this book over something else? Does it provide a complete set of course notes by answering the questions, or is it just good revision?
What resources did you guys find useful to achieve very high marks?

The bio dot point books are really good revision - they cover everything, I wouldn’t say that doing dot points alone will get you a 45+ study score. They’re definitely really useful however some questions are a bit out of the scope of the study design!

I can't vouch for those books since the only resources I used were my textbook and studyon (jacaranda version of checkpoints), but the main thing that really helped me was doing lots of exam questions & linking the concepts together
