We have to do methods used to study sleep, effects of sleep deprivation and sleep phenomena. I also have a SAC tomorrow, bah.

just did the 2008 VCAA one. Got 83/84. 99%, The question I got wrong was one I got wrong the other day too. >.< Its really out of 90, 2 marks I think I got right but the assessors report is shady so I wont count them either way and the other 4 I didnt do because I havent done research methods yet. 83/90 is still an A+ judging by the grade distribution anyway. Hopefully the 2010 one is about the same.

ermm just looked on the site
in psychology....it says 163-180 for a+

Does that mean you could loose 17 marks on the exam? That isn't right....UM what someone explain ploise lol.

Exams are marked by 2 people and they add up the marks because the actual exam is out of 90. So to get an A+ you could only lose 8.5 marks, not 17.

pretty pumped for mid years. havnt reallly had time to start studying but i already know the knowledge of AOS3 as we just had the SAC. I think i will get about 90% for it :). First SAC i really didnt have time to study for as I had 2 other SACs the same day and got 78% while on the second SAC I improved and got 88or 89%. Are you guys sitting the exam going to spent a lot of time on defintions? I looked through past exams and found almost none but I feel i could be caught out if defintions are asked and i spent 100% of my time on concepts. What should I do?

The definition of a visual illusion is pretty essential, it turns up in so many of the practice exams i've done...

Concerning definitions, the ones i've seen frequently are either describing a neuroimaging technique, Gestalt principles, depth cues, sleep phenomena and sleep disorders. You should know each one but don't spend all your time just on definitions...
