Need Help with a question

Hey I need some help with this question in preparation for my first Physics sac

the question is attached below it is question 6

how would you approach this question ?

Hey :)

I'd approach this as being based on q=mc[delta]T

First,  find q by doing q=mc [delta]T on the water

Then,  use that value of q for q/(m [delta]T) = c

Note that m & c are different between the two equations

hey thanks so much

I got that the unknown metal = 840 j however glass isn't a metal so I guess the answer is aluminium
