Oh man... That's so smart. I said he could use cologne while the psychologist was teaching to him so he could smell it on a hanky if he wanted to remember the instructions  HAHAHA

Aw thank you! I’m still worried if I over thought the exam :(
And ur response seems pretty accurate to me. There will probs be multiple answers
2017- Biology

2018- Chemistry, English, Methods, Physics & Business Managment

Does anyone remember what they put for Question 2?
It was about the labelled diagram and roles of each neural structure during neural transmission

Yo pretty sure the answer is A  :D

I've quickly gone through (there could be one or two mistakes in here) but
my suggested MCQ answers
1. C 2A 3A 4C 5A 6 arguments could be made for A or B, but I'm going with B  7A 8B 9D 10B
11B 12D 13C 14C 15A 16B 17* 18C 19A 20C
21A 22B 23B 24D 25B 26C 27C 28B 29D 30C
31D 32C 33B 34A 35C 36B 37B 38D 39D 40D
41C 42A 43D 44D 45C 46A 47D 48A 49C 50D

Note on 17: the answers don't make sense. My suspcion is that a typo was made and that Elijah's friend was supposed to receive hundreds of likes. (vicarious reinforcement, making the answer D)

I won't be posting up suggested answers for short answer but hopefully this helps some of you with closure :)

I did, 6 B, makes more sense as ANS does not initiate responses

Yeah.. I've addressed that now in the my sample answers.

hmm yeah. My biology-centered brain still sees biochemical resonses as responses but B does seem like it'll be the answer they want

For question 17 i did reproduction (it took me like 4839 minutes):

But there was a VCAA question previous years where it was this dude who was doing yoga. He had the motivation and reinforcer to do it (friends applauded him after the behaviour even thou he failed), but he failed miserably because he didn’t have the resources (e.g. flexibility or whatever) to actually perform the trick/yoga pose correctly.

So I was thinking like, yeah the dude has motivation, but what made him receive the same results as the person he observed was because he had the potential to reproduce the same outcome.

It was weird and I hope it’s a mistake where everyone gets the answer right :(

yeah reproduction should be right it's just the "as.." bit that throws it off :/

At least it's only one mark so even if they don't give it, it shouldn't impact anyone heaps

Thanks sarangiya for the exam copy and miniturtle for your suggested answers!!

For Q6 I did A... which I'm fine with because if your answers were correct, it was the only question I got wrong (other than 17), which is my best I've done in any practice exam! I was stuck between A and B myself. For Q17 (^^^), I did reproduction one, but none of them made sense it was so confusing! I thought making the video demonstrated reproduction because having hundreds of likes himself meant the video was funny?? successfully reproduced?? crazy stuff

I was stuck with question 31 too. Why is it D and not A?

I like your q17 theory; I didn't think about 'likes' as a measure of success

Primary appraisal is where it's decided if it's threat, challenge, harm/loss
Secondary appraisal is where coping strategies & resources are considered

Okay one more q I’m sorry 😂

For 35, it says the research assistant interacts with the participants. So wouldn’t she be the one who receives the double-blind procedure?

I’m sorry for asking so many Q’s!

That's ok!

Do you mean 36? It definitely is the assistant who should know who's assigned to what group
