I thought last years was a tad harder. But i did it about a month ago so there were still holes in my knowledge back then, so its not easy to compare

In all the trial exams I did I had never encountered anything to do with euler's method nor slope fields (I thought they were more to do with exam 2) thus I didn't revise them and woopty doo they were on the exam. Otherwise I thought it was alright.

I'm hoping the majority of the state did the same thing and didnt revise Eulers and slope fields. its a bit mean to hope for the failure of other people, but I think its VCAAs fault for devising such a competitive system

I agree with all of that. As cruel as it is, as I was reading I thought 2b and 7 and 8 looked nice because they would lose most of the state.
But then, I know I got part of 7 wrong and I don't have confidence in my 8c either, haha, guess I deserve that :P

why does everyone say they didn't revise euler's? it's part of every pre-2006 exam!

i think it was quite predictable tho; i knew there'd definitely be an implicit one

English 45  Chemistry 45  Specialist 45  Physics 44  Chinese 40  Methods 44  ->  ENTER 99.75

I didn't think they'd have the euler stuff + slope field. That was like, the first time I've ever drawn one.

I didnt expect slope field in exam 1, it threw me.
As for the rest, the questions were relatively easy in difficulty, but i thought it was longer than last year, makes it harder in the time limit... i didnt get to check any answers at all :(
