Pros and cons of undergrad vs postgrad (Occupational Therapy)

Hi all,

I'm trying to weigh up the advantages and disadvantages going straight into a specialised Bachelor or doing a more general Bachelor and then specialising at a Masters level.

In my case, I could either do a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy straight away or do a Bachelor of Biological Sciences (I already have an early offer through La Trobe Aspire) and then the Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice afterwards. I think for me the main trade off is that the first pathway will be shorter and cheaper, but the second would give me more time to explore what I actually want to do, as I only recently became interested in this career path.

Would love to hear people's experiences with different pathways and what other pros/cons I should take into consideration!
