Why are you doing 2? You can get away with doing Calc2, although they might pressure you to do linear algebra

Cos you got 35 raw you can take a test to do acc 1&2 it's helD on he Friday of o-week, if you don't take test or don't pass you have to do the lower Maths pathway, it's the exact situation a lot of actuarial students are in

Do calc 2 and lin alg; those two will cover you for pretty much all maths you'll need. Accelerated maths is pretty much exactly the same, though they throw in a bit of real analysis too (you'll never need that, though).

On your transcript do they write accelerated mathematics or "calc 2+linear algebra+real analysis"
i got 38 in spesh and im not sure whether i should do accelerated mathematics (planning on going into chem/mechanical engineering)

Real analysis won't help you at all. Calc 2 teaches you all the calculus you'll need for engineering and lin alg teaches you all the simultaneous equation type stuff you'll need for engineering.

Linear Algebra...  I quiver, hyperventilate and then get heart palpitations when I hear that word.  Starts of well, then it hits you and a few weeks later, you die.

Are you taking the Bioengineering pathway?
Because the normal pathway only requires one maths subject.

Good deal easier than any of the other maths I've done at uni. *Dies*

Not sure if you've sorted this out yet, but last year, this was the situation with Maths for someone in your position:

1. If you want to take the standard route, you do Experimental Design and Data Analysis in Semester 1 and Calculus 2 in Semester 2.  A lot of people dislike EDDA, but I think that you do recognise its value since it teaches you a lot of statistics used in medical studies/other scientific papers.

2. If you want to "keep your options open", as far as the bioengineering pathway goes, you do Calculus 2 and Linear Algebra - this is a bit more intense "maths" (though I found Calc 2 pretty straight forward, apparently Linear Algebra matrices are manageable but annoying).  You don't do statistics.

3. If you want to "keep your options more open" (in the sense that you could arguably do the Diploma or Informatics as well as bioeng pathway) or you REALLY love maths, you could try and do the accelerated pathway - but the problem with this last year was that its lectures are very intensive (Accel 1 and Accel 2 are effectively three subjects worth of credit).  The lecture times clashed with a lot of biomed times so you would have to miss one lecture or the other - maths lectures in general are not recorded on lectopia for play back.  I would probably recommend against this choice unless you're really very good at maths - it is a great deal harder than either of the other two options above when you factor in the clashes as well as actual content.

That said, I went for Option 1 - maybe people who have done 2 or 3 could chip in their views!

out of intrest, what three subjects does acc 1&2 combine? cacl 2, linear algerba and real analysis?

Pretty much those three are covered in the two accelerated maths.  It's a good thing because it's 3 for the price of 2, so you save ~$500.

also, why does the maths subjects clash with biomed subjects in particular? Wouldn't subjects from all faculties clash to some degree? Are there more clashes with biomed and maths than say with commerce and maths?
