Always get them confused :( , anyone have any method of remembering it?

Hey, if you stick to the "BATheD" thing, (remember to start from REM instead of NREM 1), you can just think about the amplitude starting to increase,  and the frequency starting to decrease. Basically the waves are getting bigger and stretchier (if that makes sense)

You can also picture it that REM is Beta, and because in REM, the brain is 'busy' it's working all fast and quickly (so have something that looks like scribbly writing ie. high frequency, low amplitude), and then the NREM 4 is pure Delta, in that, the brain is pretty much doing nothing, so the waves look very lazy and stretched out..ie. low frequency, high amplitude and then everything else is on the continuum between these two, so you can say medium frequency, medium amplitude.

I don't know how much that makes sense, but hope it helps somewhat... just think about the continuum  :P  All the best for tomorrow!  :)
