HOW TO MAXIMISE MY ATAR???!!

SO, I'm rank 1 in two classes and go to a high performing, recognised school.
However, I am very average at my bottom two subjects.... and I don't think there is much opportunity for improvement as I am not naturally talented and able to understand the content within these subjects.
AND I am an above average English student.

My question is how do I maximise my ATAR in these circumstances? do I focus on being the best I can possibly be in my two best subjects and English, or do I focus more on my poor subjects? How do I balance my study towards each subject?
