University of Sydney or University of NSW

Hi,
I am a year 12 student this year. I love maths, biology and chemistry and in particular learning about the human body.
For university at the moment I am thinking of either doing a double degree of biomedical engineering with either medical science or just science at the University of Sydney.
Or doing the double biomedical engineering degree with another form of engineering at UNSW.
I was just wondering if anyone knew what the best job prospective out of this is. I am not 100% sure if I want to do biomedical engineering or medical research hence the double degree at USyd. But I have heard that jobs in medical research are very hard to get and have bad pay.
I think I would like biomedical engineering but I'm not 100% sure that I would either.
I just would like to know any thoughts or experiences on these degrees, or the differences in the university experiences etc.
