☆Update: 28/01/2020☆Hey everyone! Welcome back to another episode of Ashmi's Catastrophe Journal!
So with school for me literally being tomorrow (thankfully I only have 2 periods WOOHOO), it's probably time I did another update of my current life.
First of all, if anyone is doing Further Maths 3/4 and would like some tips for constructing bound references or using CAS, I made a mini-guide here:
☆Further Maths | Guide☆ . I would like to update it soon with some examiner tips/what people usually make mistakes on so check it out every once in a while~
Some random things going on in my life:
• Our school's Year 12 formal got cancelled
• Also, our school doesn't want us to have pockets in our Year 12 Jumpers
• Currently debating how well the 'no phones' policy is going to work in school
• Was able to drink the recommended amount of water for 3 weeks straight!
Subject Progress during holidays:
☆PDT☆I've been having art-block and have been only able to do some mini sketches (visualisations) to put into my folio. I really wanted to have a full rendered design done but overall, I'm pretty happy with how everything has turned out. I've only done a few visualisations, but so far so good! I have Product Design tomorrow so I'm really excited to get back on track with my stuff. Here one batch of visualisations that I need to put into my folio template (Let's hope I can get 5 of these!)
☆English☆This subject has been pretty good to me recently. I've just been reading and annotating again while trying to make connections with my comparative texts. With this, I'm trying to learn a few more words each day (especially for language analysis) and hopefully I can start improving more when I get back to school!
☆Methods☆It feels weird to not have to charge your CAS constantly, like really weird. Methods has been an interesting subject for me because I'm finding it to be much easier than the previous year, almost as if everything has just clicked into place. Maybe it's because there is less 'word problems' or just the method to solve a particular question you sort of know from the very start. I don't know where methods is going to take me this year but I'm so excited for AOS 4 Probability that's for sure!
☆Chemistry☆Loving fuels, galvanic cells and pretty much everything in AOS 1! AOS 2 is interesting too and I can't wait to do some Chem at school!
☆Physics☆Hahahaha, physics. I love you yet I hate you so much. This is again, a weird subject and I'm just going to let life take its course and hopefully it doesn't destroy me too much this year. Unit 3 of Physics is my favourite and I'm hoping to stay positive in this subject through the year.
That's the final update before the academic year starts! Let's see if I can get through this school week!
