Eh.. imo, personal property whether that be student or teacher is a no no. Again, I sound like the party pooper but put yourself in their shoes. Potentially damaging their car that they've worked their ass off for, for your selfish enjoyment. There are ways to have fun that doesn't involve destruction of property or injuring somebody.
Yeah, but they're much harder to think up... :-\

From a teacher's perspective, how much stuff do you keep in your desk that you wouldn't want wet?

Potentially a lot of things.

I would stay away from any teachers property full stop. That's my 2c here. :)

Pretty much all of it, lol. Majority of stuff school-owned too which you'd be liable to pay for if damaged (e.g. laptop, textbooks etc).

Staff only area for a reason. Also, good luck graduating with outstanding damage costs. :)

Again, there are other ways of having fun without destruction of property or injuring people. It's up to you to be creative and not get yourself in deep crap.

Another idea we had the last few years were
- scary halloween masks on dummies behind staff room door! sounds lame but it totally worked!
- air horns behind the bathroom doors... the boys placed them perfectly and this was a HILARIOUS one!
- 'Goodbye from 2016 class' in weed killer on the oval... this left its mark for a LONG time! ;D
basically our past classes have stuck to things that make fun of the teachers, but aren't destructive!
Loving the ideas... and thanks Aaron for stepping in... it kinda ruins it when people get in trouble afterwards!

ideas flying here by the looks.... totally agree with Aaron. it is so dumb if stuff is wrecked and it makes it hard for the next year....

that said.... we have a really small school so did something in every room....

- toilet paper draped from ceiling
- streamers
- fluro colouring in cisterns....
- stretched-wrapped middle desks in staff room.
- filled admin office with balloons
- bubble-wrap down hallway - noise!
- big sign out the front
- Year 12 flag
- painted the couch in the learning center (yes, it is permanent, yes we had permission, yes it was very old, yes we are replacing it)
- confetti in air-con ducts
- pigs head in teachers fridhe
- all desks upside-down in primary room
- 2018 balloons in hall
- cups partly filled with water spread over hall floor (blocking enter)
- post-it note covered desks
- LOCKED ALL TOILET PAPER, TISSUES, PAPER TOWEL AND HATS IN TROPHY CABINET!!! the best!

etc, etc.....
So close to the end!!!!

muck-up day has come... the year 12s r having sooooo much fun!
- all the school's chairs were placed on the roof
- a tree planted in the middle of the oval
- multiple pieces of furniture cling-wrapped together (blocking the corridor - bit of an obstacle course for the teachers! ;D)
- drawing on the windows with liquid chalk
- rice in tea towels above door... (pours down on u when u open the door) :P
- goldfish and fruit-loops in the bathroom basins!!!!!
i think thats all... its expanding as the day goes on... so we r just waiting for more!!! ;D ;D

Goldfish???????

Other than that, kudos to you for being able to have a muck up day where people or property aren't significantly impacted.
