Nope. They will conveniently open it in 2018 (I think..?). Pfft, as if they'd open it while I'm still there. It'd have to be a miracle!

It will be a massive relief for all those who drive to Monash daily - given the construction workers take up majority of the SE3 parking spaces at like 7am.

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of an instance where their final marks/results were scaled and the circumstances in which they occurred ?

Cheers

Hey everyone , hope you have been enjoying the break from uni !!  :)

just a question i have. When you guys go on WES and check your Unofficial Academic Record, does your sem 1 units have INCOMPLETE OR COMPLETE next to them?

some of my friends have INCOMPLETE for all but then some of my friends have complete for some , its just weird and i wanted to see what everyone else has.

Thanks  :)

Mine are still saying incomplete. I actually haven't asked anyone else if this is the case for them, and I'm afraid I can't be of much more help than that. I wouldn't worry too much about it though. :)

Mine are also saying incomplete. Unsure of the significance, but I do know that I passed everything, so I'm assuming it can't mean much. :)
Maybe it indicates whether things (i.e. results) have been uploaded into the system for that unit or not? Not too sure.

Same here.
But then again, my exams were fairly late into the exam period, so I have my doubts if I see a complete/grade on mine before results day. :)

The chief examiners for each unit upload to WES and then released centrally by the university on the 10th or whatever (afaik).

I have had one instance where a result for 1 of my units was released prematurely (I think this was due to human error by someone).

But yes, it will say INCOMPLETE for all your units until they are formally released (even if you have had your Moodle grade sections updated - this is a separate system). I dont think I have ever encountered a situation where it has displayed anything else apart from either INCOMPLETE or the grade/number.

I know all of my grades/marks for this semester, yet they still show up as INCOMPLETE on WES. So yeah.. it doesn't mean that you haven't satisfied the requirements or anything... so it isn't a cue that you've failed :P

i was just looking at the monash website for information about applying for mid year scholarships.

and i came across this "students employed full-time by Monash University, on a continuing basis or a fixed-term contract for 12 months or more, are ineligible to apply for coursework scholarships and bursaries"

does this mean that if you are doing a full time course(say around 5 years) at monash you cant apply for a scholarship for mid year?
i have also attached an image to show the context of what i am talking about.

Many thanks  :)
