University transfer/studies

Hello

If I would like to place a transfer into Bachelor of science at claytonMonash during the mid-year , would you let me know what units I should major in my first semester at a different institution such as RMIT . Does what I major in matter? if so , would an Applied science or Applied chemistry be more suitable?
I appreciate any help
