Hey Milanander!
You're journey sounds really interesting so far
How do you feel now about completing 3/4 Art and 3/4 PDT at such a young age? Do you feel as though it has prepared you to take on VCE again?
You're subjects for next year sound interesting. I study physics and QCE 3/4 physics looks hella interesting. But I'm particularly interested to see how you find specialist maths. I would have loved to study it but my school didn't offer it (my friend is studying it externally, however, and she loves it). What subject do you think you are most excited for next year?
It's tough loving something so much but knowing that it may not provide a stable career... But it sounds as if you have really thought this through. Hopefully you'll have time to continue art as a hobby. I've had a similar experience to you. I am hella interested in theoretical physics (string theory mainly) and always dreamed of making a career out of it (I wanted to be the next Stephen Hawking, you know?
)... But there just isn't a need for it in Australia and it doesn't provide stability. So, I've decided that I will go into secondary education (teaching senior maths and science).
I too am aiming for a high ATAR... I would love a 98 (or a 99 - but that definitely won't happen). I'm trying not to focus on it too much because I don't want to be too disappointed if I don't achieve it. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself, yeah? By the sounds of things, I have full faith that you will achieve great things next year
I'm excited to see were this journal goes
I hope you enjoy these summer holidays and have a great Christmas!
