Hey all you Psycho's, :P
Taking into account
-SAC ranking/marks
-Unit 3 Exam mark
-Unit 4 Exam thoughts
...
What study score are you all looking at?
I'm doing Psychology next year (without 1/2). I want a 40+. Should that be hard?
(This is a sub discussion- main discussion to stay with Study score predictions)

I'm aiming for 35 for psych, as its not my best subject..

well, you have 44 multiple choice questions, then a whole lot of short answer... and in exam 2 you have a third part whch involves analysing a research experiment, a nd picking it apart for ethical errors / mistakes/ anything that would confound the results.

If you havent done unit 1/2 i recommend you read up on the basics of an experiment, eg independant variable, dependant variable, etc... as well as basic ethical issues like benificience. OTher than that you should be alright.

I got an A+ on midyear, expecting around a 95% average, but im only ranked 2nd in my school, on sacs... and im hoping to get 79/80 on exam 2... so i think 48/49 hopefully.

Last year I got A+, A+ , A+ (ranked 1st for sacs) and yet got 42....my exam 1 score was just a borderline A+.....I was very dissapointed because psych was such an easy subject

I got a high A+ for the mid-year, probably a high A+ for the end-of-year and I'm ranked first for SACs by a considerable margin. I'm hoping for high 40s.

Well I've pretty much got 100% on every SAC and got an A+ on the mid year.

I was really disappointed with the end-of-year... :(

Hopefully I can still get a 40+...43 would be really nice  8)

LOL

Psych is one of the better subjects of the VCE. Be grateful you completed it    You can relate so much of it to actual real life situations as well.

Started reading the "Introduction to Psychology" section of my text book the other day when I was lying down. It suggested looking through the Unit 1 and 2 text book to get a better background because I haven't done 1&2.
Thoughts?
