Study Score

Hi,

I know this is so hard to predict, but if I have 92 in Unit 3 and 95 in Unit 4 and go to a school where the SAC's are very hard (not sure of rank as they don't tell us), what exam score would I need to achieve a 45+?

Also, I am genuinely confused, do people who get 50's get 100 on the exam? Or is it extremely rare for someone to get 100? What score would you need on the exam to get a 50 with high 90 SAC scores?

This tells you the scores you need for particular grades last year: http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Pages/vce/statistics/2016/statssect3.aspx

A 50 means performing in the top 0.1% of the state for that subject, and does not necessarily mean full-marking, or even being rank 1 (but you would want to have a very very strong cohort).
imo, this is an unhealthy goal to set for yourself; even the "best" person in the state for that subject may not receive this score due to wording of question on exam day, how they are feeling, what the temperature is etc.
A 45+ means performing in the top 2% of the state
A 40+ means performing in the top 9%
