Hi so I need to do a single unit of MTH1010 next semester to meet a prerequisite for a course transfer, but I was wondering how this worked. Does this mean I would be doing 5 units instead of 4 and overloading next semester?

You can go either way, depending on the course you're currently in. If you have 4 compulsory/ core units next semester, then overloading with MTH1010 may be possible (and required). However, if you do not have 4 compulsory units next semester, it may be better if you use your elective spot(s) to put MTH1010 as your 4th unit and not overload, since this will give you more time to dedicate to each unit and lower your stress levels.
