Language Vocab Lists

Hello Everyone! Does anyone know if there are any vocab lists available for languages? I'm doing ATS2143 (Japanese) so I want to try and get a headstart on the kanji and vocab before classes start.

Thank you

Hey there,

I haven't done Japanese at Monash, but you might find last year's unit guide for ATS2143 (need to log in with your Monash account) helpful, which details the textbook used, as well as a general outline of what is covered each week (the 2019 one hasn't been posted yet, but generally units don't change too much from year to year).

Hope that helps :)

Did that unit. You won't have one from recollection. Seeing that you did VCE Japanese, you won't need to have any headstart. It basically starts from midway through U3/4 Japanese. If you desperately want to have a headstart, start off by looking through the textbook. (By the way, get the Genki II textbook and workbook before semester starts. You'll need it on Day 1.)
