Title: Programs
Post by: Bubblesxgrapes-_+ on February 02, 2021, 01:15:21 pm
Hey, I'm looking for any suggestions about programs for year 10 up like the Kwong Lee Dow or Monash Scholars Program. I was also looking for some ideas about how to present leadership and engage in the community to qualify for these programs. I'm in a small school and haven't had many chances. Since applications for the Monash program starts in April I need to get on this fast. Thanks for help!!

Hey,

The biggest thing KLD ever did for me was that a fellow student introduced me to AN, but I did also like the revision lectures, catch ups etc.

I know some people used sport for their community engagement, you could also look up community programs near you, if you have a local youth centre could get involved there, and your school is likely to have some leadership opportunities you could get involved with if you ask.

There are more recent people than me who can probably comment better on the application process but I hope this helps :)
