It was probably better for him financially staying at Richmond. The amount he can generate in sponsorships etc because of the good news around staying with a successful club is huge really. It's blokes like Riewoldt, Rance and Cotchin who could be on double what they are now at other clubs who probably best typify loyalty. Wasn't really reported on that Rance signed on only a week or so after McGovern signed on a 1.1 million/year contract. Rance would be getting nowhere near that

Predictions for first week of finals everyone?

Here are mine:

RICH VS HAWK: RICH by 20 points.

MELB VS GEE: MELB by 5 points.

SYD VS GWS: SYD by 2 points.

WCE VS COLL: WCE by 34 points (hope I'm wronggggg)

Spewing the Tipping system doesn't cater for finals too.


Edit: Rumours Gaff has accepted NM's offer... dunno whether to trust (and if so, how much) rumour pages.  8) Suppose we'll soon find out
