As 2pm creeps closer, feel free to post how you’re feeling.
When offers come, feel free to post what offer you got below! :)
-
The offers are usually emailed out earlier than 2pm, right?

Hopefully AngelWings can confirm, but in 2019 (when I received my offer) offers were actually released in alphabetical order of the institutions name.
So my friends who got offers from ACU got their offer at 7am (a pleasant surprise)
whereas people like me who got an offer from The University of Melbourne had to wait at like 12pm
So unless they changed it, you might get your offer earlier; but definitely will receive it by 2pm
All the best,
T&S

I don't know about the order, but I received my own one around 10-11am (Monash BSci) back 6 years ago. You may receive it earlier than 2pm (and this appears to have been the case most previous years), but with COVID and everything... not sure. VTAC website still has the 2pm time though, so I assume they're acting as per usual.

Hey just a question, how long after round 1 offers come out are we allowed to accept? Will we have to accept straight away or do we get a week to accept etc. ?

From memory, it’s about a week or just under. Read your offer email carefully to confirm that though.
Congrats to everyone who have their offers so far!

Can anyone tell me what the minimum ATAR was for Monash medicine this year ?
I taught a student who wanted to be a doctor and am interested whether they would have received an offer.
Many thanks in advance 😀👍👍

Offers for medicine are based on a combination of criteria including a students ATAR, UCAT and interview so there isnt a specific ATAR cutoff.
Very easily there would be people with higher ATARs missing out and those with lower ATARs getting an offer.

Thank you for your reply.
I am aware of the fact that the ATAR is just one element of being accepted. I am just interested in the minimum ATAR that people achieved to be accepted.
Many thanks for your response though 👍👍

VTAC reports and stats are out so I had a look. Here’s what I saw:
Monash Med min. ATARs Jan 2021:
CSP Bonded SLE - 95.65
CSP ERC SLE - 96.50
SLE - 96.35
(Side note: Medians were 99.20, 99.20 and 99.60 respectively.)
As Sine said above, this doesn’t necessarily guarantee that your student got in, as you probably would need to know the other two categories as well i.e. UCAT score and their interview performance during the actual interview to accurately make that assessment.
Note: ERC - extended rural cohort; SLE - school leaver entry
-
I enjoy seeing all these, congratulations everyone on getting through the hardest year of high school during a pandemic!
Best of luck for university or any other studies you will be commencing :)
