(mods ily btw this is an excellent idea)

I've never made one of these before, but it's struggling during Bcom time!

Sem 1 2020
- ACCT10001 (nh)
- ECON10004 (h3)
- FNCE10002 (nh)
- MAST10008 (h3)

Sem 2 2020
- ACCT10001
- ACTL10001
- ECON10003
- MAST10009

Considering enrolment into a diploma of mathematics based on my performance this semester, hopefully I do better lmao

Excited to hear your updates! How has your first semester of uni been? What's been the best and worst parts? :)

(mods ily btw this is a v good idea)

I've never made one of these before, but it's struggling during Bcomm hrs!!

Sem 1 2020
- ACCT10001 (results in process, predicting a fail)
- ECON10004 (results in process, feel somewhat confident)
- FNCE10002 (results in process, predicting a fail)
- MAST10008 (results in process, best subject lets gooo)

Long-term, planning on going into actuarial, we love committing ourselves to a 7-10 year journey arbitrarily. I'm studying at Unimelb, but I learn things so obsessively, I lowkey hope VU model's gets some further standing in how course structures are (even if it's from, u know.. VU).

Will post further details during sem :0
Dawg I feel ya. ARA is an absolute painful subject to study :'(

I hope to read more from you!
Also from another comm student :)

Kinda weird! But that's probably bc of covid tbh

Best parts r the union house and my maths lecturer! Altho my finance lecturer yelled at me for talking in a lecture once, lmao

Hey chemistrykind. What's the process for getting into actuarial? Like, would further study be required post-Commerce?

Yes. You need around 7-10 years of full-time study to become an actuary, although taking actuarial studies as your major at either Monash or Melbourne (the two qualified institutes in Victoria) may exempt you from some units/exams.

I recommend taking a look at https://www.actuaries.asn.au/ for further info :)
