Does anyone have any recommendations for careers counsellors who will actually tell you what you should do (unlike school careers counsellors who are quite literally useless)? I am struggling to narrow down on courses and don't know if I should do a single or double degree.

I don’t know any careers counsellors specifically unless you attend the school yourself, however, it’s possible to go and ask unis and other tertiary institutes e.g. TAFEs via their Open Days for some course advice and info and do your own research. If you also need some help, you can ask here though we are not qualified careers counsellors, we can guide you to resources/ websites that can or recommend a general area/ course based on what you post.

For starters:
- Uni Open Days
- VTAC Info thread
- All the stickied (orange) threads in the VTAC board
- you can reply to this thread with your circumstances, favourite subjects and desired course areas if you like and someone may be able to answer.
VCE: Psych | Eng Lang | LOTE | Methods | Further | Chem
Uni: Bachelor of Science (Hons) - genetics
Current: working (sporadically on AN)
