Is it too late to change subjects in year 12? (3/4)

So. I was thinking of changing one of my subjects. Is it possible if I do it now?
(Extra info. I kept 5 of my subjects the same - I do not think I will fail any of them. So this change will not affect my QCE points)

Also the problem is that they're starting the first assessment soon (data test). So if I were to change - I don't think these marks will go in my overall score out of 100.
How badly would this affect my report cards and stuff? : ( Yikesss

Hey,

Welcome to the forums :)

If you want to change one of your subjects you need to talk to your school about this ASAP, ideally today.

Looking on the senior education profile calendar this week seems to be the last chance for your school to edit your subject enrolment information. Your school may also tell you it is already too late, but your only chance at getting this through is to act ASAP.

Best of luck and please keep us updated on how it goes!

Hey thanks for the reply!

I'll talk to them about it soon
An issue is that, would I have to do their data test? (its in about 2 weeks... ) and I haven't learnt their unit 3 work yet

I think you would... what subject are you going into? It'll be intense but I can link you to resources for studying it & getting in practice quick.

Alright,

QCE psych at this stage of the year is very similar to VCE psych which means there's lots out there to help you.

I'm going to start off linking this article I wrote on preparing for a QCE psych data test  (I scored in the top 1% of the state for psych in Vic where it has been around for ages). Don't do the practice questions until you've learnt more of the content.

On that note, here's some things to help you learn the content:
Psych notes from K.Smithy, great level of detail (she got 100% on the data test)
Videos on some of the topics Don't worry about the sleep, stigma, or disorder category stuff
Video recapping key points from the September QCE psych lecture (long, 40 minutes)
More free psych notes

Hope this helps!

Make sure you use the psychology syllabus to check what you need to know and ensure you're covering that off :)
