Has anyone here done the house test on Pottermore? What did you get?
I'm in Ravenclaw. Except I wasn't too happy when I did the patronus test and got a wild boar (not exactly the coolest animal).

Tests have difficulty deciding if I'm Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw.  Am so not a Griffindor or Slytherin... am such a coward hahaha

Whilst I answered as honestly as I could even before I started the test I knew it would give me Ravenclaw

always get Gryffindor which gives me a misplaced sense of superiority (though kinda feel like Hufflepuff is more appropriate but whatevs)

Already love this thread

I'm in Ravenclaw. Except I wasn't too happy when I did the patronus test and got a wild boar (not exactly the coolest animal).

Hey at least you didn't make a new account, do the test twice, and still get a Russel Terrier. Why am I a domestic pet. -.-

House: Slytherin
Wand: Ebony, Phoenix feather, 13", unyielding flexibility
Patronus: Runespoor
Ilvermony House: Horned Serpent

What the hell man, I thought I'd be a Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, but all these things are setting me up to be the next Voldy (esp. the runespoor. it's a three-headed snake)

Also, I hate when she says stuff like she regrets having Hermonie marry Ron, like you can't really take that back now.
I don't mind. :P My 12-year-old self shipped that so hard while everyone was like "Noo, they're just friends!". ;D

Another Ravenclaw here. I always get Ravenclaw. :P

I think I got slytherin! Can't remember what I got as my patronus though.

I started reading HP when I was 7, but I actually read Deathly Hallows first (it was when it had just been released, and I was starting to really get into reading... still don't know why I decided to read the last book first). Obviously, it was a very confusing (but still enjoyable!) read, especially when other people would talk about how sad they were about characters' deaths whereas I had little to no emotional attachment to them! Luckily I realised what I'd done though and the second time reading it made a lot more sense . I always watch the movies whenever they're on tv, so I can pretty much remember the next scene/lines. Wish I had that kind of memory for school though and not just Harry Potter (no regrets though )!

What are your thoughts on the cursed child?-I've had people absolutely love it and others hate it. I like it but it definitely isn't as good as all the other Harry Potter books.
It was soooooo shit. So shit. Very, very disappointing.

Been a few years since I last read the books, so definitely need to re-read them at some stage (probably when uni finishes for the year). Will always be a series that I just thoroughly enjoy - if I'm bored and want to watch a movie, one of the Harry Potter movies is always my go to choice :D

OMG, I went there the day after my 12th Birthday! When's your birthday? :D It was a huge deal at the time!I loved the Harry Potter books but they were already finished and now she's trying to make more. It was definitely more fabrication then the other books and to get more money (when she has more then enough).
Although, I would still love to see the play if it ever came to Australia.
Also, I hate when she says stuff like she regrets having Hermonie marry Ron, like you can't really take that back now.

oh wow that's cool!! my birthday is march 30 - you?

i wouldn't consider seeing the play if it came to australia, whoops. if i thought the play was crap on paper i don't think i would be interested in seeing it live. yea true about the hermione and ron thing although i low key kinda ship dramione

Has anyone here done the house test on Pottermore? What did you get?

hogwarts: ravenclaw
ilvermorny: thunderbird
patronus: ibizan hound

i definitely did not expect ravenclaw when i did the test (i made multiple pottermore accounts over the years and i continue to get ravenclaw) because i am far from the textbook 'smart,' and as for the qualities of a ravenclaw (wisdom, cleverness and wit) - i have never felt like they applied to me. the patronus was a bit weird because once again, definitely wasn't expecting it, but after a google of the ibizan hound i reckon it's pretty cool.

Hahaha actually, my favourite movie fluctuates according to the mood I'm in.

Most of the time, my go to one to watch is the Prisoner of Azkaban.

I enjoy OoTP, but I'm still annoyed at the amount of good stuff from the book that got left out of the movie.
