SAT Prep

Just starting getting serious about considering to sit the SATs. Few questions:
1) Where is it usually held in Melbourne?
2) Do the general SAT prep books have all the prep needed for SAT I as well as the subject tests?
3) How long do you suggest for prep and how much work is really required? (Maybe a stupid question but is it going to put a lot of stress on my VCE subjects?)

Thanks.

It's required for admission to North American universities. If you hadn't heard of it before, probably not worth worrying about.
