Hey! I buy 7 eleven drinks and muffins way too much (and eat them outside the State Library or in Flagstaff Gardens). The lady at the 7-eleven recognises me (as I am always carrying my ukulele on my way to work) and has learnt my name which shows that I go there was too much. I also love Lygon Street (especially Tiamo and Brunetti's). In the CBD, Smile Bread is just outside MC and a really nice place to get something sweet and sit inside to eat it. They also do savoury things but I've never tried any. NeNe Chicken in MC is also good, as is the Italian place in the food court. I also love "In A Rush", in the Fed Square area near the NGV. They have great breakfast and also really good soup.

If you're looking for a cheapish meal- Om Vegetarian has all you can eat curry for $7.50

(There's 4 locations- I know there's one near Capitol Theatre/Swanston Street, one closer to Flinders St Station on Swanston St (near Collins St), and one near the KFC near Flinders St Station on Elizabeth St. Dunno where the fourth one is 😅)
