Hey guys!
For anyone who is at the Conservatorium of music, is it true you had to pay an audition fee?

I think I had to pay around $50 when I did my con auditions.

Hope this helps! :)

No, I did the audition but didn't end up getting in. For the clarinet one, I ended up having to play 2 contrasting pieces and 2 scales. I ended up doing 2 of my HSC pieces so by December I was pretty confident with them. I also used a piano accompanist that I had used before so I had around 3-4 rehearsals with her beforehand. I needed to focus a lot on my scales though because I was expected to know all major/minor scales and they choose 2. I mainly focussed on the auditions after HSC and all the written exams though.

Voice is going to be different to clarinet so make sure you know the audition requirements and what you need to know to prepare. Here are the audition dates as well!

Hope this helps!! :)
