Guys how do you identify genres?

Hey,
I think most of it would just be listening to a wide amount of music and knowing what makes up each of the different genres. However, you wouldn't lose marks if you identified the wrong genre, and there wouldn't really be a specific question on genre.

Yes! It does!
Ps. I checked in to your uni about doing a bachelor in music and apparently I needed to take music 2. Does that make me illegible then?

Nope, I and some of my friends only took music 1 so it should be ok. I think music 2 is assumed knowledge for some of the theory courses though (so I found those a bit hard at the start).
