My WAM just went up by 4%. I'm hoping to at least have it go up by another 10%.

Anyone have an idea when the Maths Department will release results? In the past they have generally been all released on the same day

Any WAM changes for people doing BIOM30002? If not, it was probably BCMB30002.

My WAM changed an hour or so ago, could be PHYC30018, PHYC30016, or LING20005.

My WAM did change but it went up so I highly doubt it was BIOM30002 LOL. For me, it must be NEUR30002 or NEUR30003 since they were multiple choice exams held in the first week of the exam period.

Despite the fact the BIOM30002 exam had short answer in it I wouldn't put it past them to have the results ready haha.

I've got three of my results. I'm too disappointed to even share them. They're not as bad as the first one I shared, but they're bad.

Out of curiosity QuantumJG, you completed a Masters in Mathematical Physics and I've been told that the content in that degree is WAY more difficult than any engineering degree you'll do. (String Theory, Complex Analysis, Discrete Maths? NOPE)

I would like to think that if you were able to complete a Masters in Maths/Physics, you'd be able to handle subjects like Risk Analysis and Fluid Mechanics quite easily.

Is the difficulty of Maths/Physics degrees overrated? Or were there other factors that affected this semester's marks for you?

I'm having second thoughts about engineering at the moment, but you've done the opposite; completed a different (and harder?) degree and jumped into engineering.

The main problem is group projects. You're going to have to deal with doing almost every project in a team which adds difficulty. I personally found the content to be reasonably simple, but somehow I did really s&&t on the exams, like REALLY S&%T on the exams. I don't know why. I checked everything to make sure I made no mistakes. I studied meticulously.

I'm fairly sure quantum is out. That's what I've been told, although I'm not checking my scores until I'm told they're all out.

Wish me luck guys.
