hello ! im considering picking up classical studies for yr 12 but i have no idea what the work load is like. do you have to memorise quotes for the exam, or do you get given texts to work with in the actual paper? is it one of the more harder arts subjects (compared to revolutions or legal etc) ???? ??
 thx lol

Do it!! Its such a good subject. You only need to memorise quotes for 2 texts which are written as a comparative essay. The other texts you do you are expected to quote from the passage they give you in the exam. The work load is bearable but no matter what VCE subject that will be the case. Its not content heavy as in memorising definitions etc its more knowing the texts really well and being able to analysis them and answer questions. Think of the subject as a mix of literature, english and history.
