anyone who has done the jmss exam in previous years or did it his year, now what results they got. what kind of results did u get to get an interview at jmss. there are some tests im pretty sure ill get a good mark for. i understand that its a competition, so it varies, but an answer would be much appreciated. also do what results u get effect the interview. im sure that if u got good results then it would put a good look on the interviewer.

how's ur application?
I didn't have much but I got a couple medals from basketball, a couple awards from school, a community service award, high distinctions/distinctions in a couple ICAS, some math olympiad stuff. My reports kinda weird you gotta be 18 months ahead for an A. so i got As on all my core subjects, and some Bs in my elective. I didn't have any state level stuff in sport tho, coz i got chronic knee pain, so that's gonna screw me over.  :(. Anyways good luck on the exam.

i didnt get the greatest of results last year and I still managed to get an interview. I got 2 superiors (maths and numerical), 1 high average (science reasoning) and a low average and below average in the two science writings.

Your results are not brought up in the interview, in fact you don't even find out your results until a couple of months after.

Your school report on the other hand is discussed throughout the interview, so really make sure that you have something to show off.

For my application, I had community service photos, seal exception awards, academic reports, and awards from school. I included my 2020 report as well as my 2019 report as my 2020 report was much better than my 2019 reports as I mostly got As and A+. Also, evidence shows I played the trumpet, tennis awards, swimming awards, athletic and swimming carnival awards and sudoku awards and interschool sports awards. Good luck to everyone writing the test.

I don't think you need that much, maybe try find some school awards or start volunteering for science research projects on the internet, there should be plenty. It isn't really advanced or 'revolutionary' science, but it helps and they're mainly looking for people who have an interest in science.

i guess just elaborate on ur interest in science if they ask u, like for me i would be like im really into supercars and their engineering, aerodynamics, torque and engine specs got me into physics quiet a lot. also if there is a group task like in their regular interviews then show how u can contribute i guess.
