The best "guide" would be this page which lists all the possible majors that relate to engineering. There is also this course planning guide and this list of sample course plans.

As you haven't done Spesh, you'll need to do Calculus 1 in Sem 1 and Calculus 2 in Sem 2. Linear Algebra can be done in Sem 1, Sem 2 or the summer semester.
Thanks! that helped...
I cant do linear algebra in sem 1, as spesh is requirement for that too, so sem 2 it will be.
I still have extra points left... do i need to use them all?
I have attached my enrollments below, tell me if everything looks good :D
VCE 2017 - 2019  |  ATAR: 97.65
Further [43], Chemistry [42],Physics[41], Methods [41],Hindi[35], EAL [39]

UoM 2020 - 2025  |  Bachelor of Science / Master of Engineering

No, the remaining points will be used by science subjects in the future years.

Calculus 2: Advanced is a new subject and has Calc 1 grade based requirements so be wary of that, the other option is to do Calculus 2.
2015-16: VCE
2017-: BSci UoM - Maths & Psych

Pretty sure hoodies are given out at the Commencement Ceremony this year, and they're no longer specifically for science students.

Does anyone here study anthropology? What does it involve? The development and diversity of cultures is something that interests me.
Listens to K-Pop (Twice, Red Velvet, MAMAMOO) and Christmas music all year round.

Hey guys,
I'm in year 11 this year and I'm really keen on Melbourne Uni at the moment for a number of reasons, the academic and overseas scholarship opportunities as well as the vibrant social side, however I'm having trouble which college I think i would best fit in: I'm quite academically focused, but I also love music and play it, I'm a huge sports fan and I really enjoy the outdoors and defs an extrovert. I'm passionate about global politics and debating but I also just want to chill and meet cool and happy people (I'm from regional victoria). Also I'm like crazy competitive, and sorry I know it's a strange mix of things to enjoy but I wouldn't say out of sport, academics, music and social gatherings that I like one more than the other!
Any advice would be much appreciated,
:)

In response to the email from the Provost is anyone able to access the list of subjects that will be on-campus
https://students.unimelb.edu.au/student-support/coronavirus/return-to-campus/subjects?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=provost_sem2_info&utm_content=provost_sem2_info+CID_4921420e885629a0c710820a7c665392&utm_source=Campaign%20Monitor&utm_term=Check%20for%20subjects%20with%20in-person%20teaching%20and%20learning
The link does not work for me
Although, I think all my subjects will be online

EDIT: The link works now one of my core subjects has on-campus delivery for workshops yikes

Personally, I think it's always a good idea to look at the 'Intended Learning Outcomes' provided for each lecture, because those key points are pretty much definitely going to be assessed on the final exam. These points are also good for revision.

If you have time, you could rewatch lectures again. That way you can refresh your memory. I also find that by rewatching lectures, I would magically understand concepts I couldn't get when I watched the lecture the first time. In terms of when to rewatch lectures, I think it is best to rewatch the relevant lectures before an MST or the final exam.

With regards to lectures, always keep an eye out for what lecturers tend to emphasise the most on, since this will definitely appear in the final exam! These points also tend not to be on the lecture slides themselves, but in the recordings instead (so listen very carefully).

Finally, it is always a very good idea to do practice exams. Now I know that Finance and Accounting don't provide very accurate sample exams, so maybe you could be able to find more 'extension' type tutorial questions to attempt again instead? If your subject doesn't provide sample exams, tutorial questions are a good way to revise, so make sure you understand these.

Hey chemistrykind,

The study style that uni demands is so different to that in high school, and I definitely struggled a lot adapting to everything when I started uni too!! I'm not a commerce student so I don't know how helpful my insight will be, but some study tips I finds really helpful personally are:
-Making a study group and meeting every week to revise and go over the most recent content
-Doing practice questions (if they're available, if not have a go at making your own or amongst your study group)
-Memorising info is boring to me, so I like to use flashcards to help me study (you can check out quizlet, brainscape and anki for starters)
-Revisiting my lectures (reading over the notes, making my own notes/flashcards etc) within 24hrs of having listened to that lecture (research shows that there's an exponential drop in the amount of info you retain after 24hrs!)
-Spaced repetition - it's unrealistic to try and memorise all my notes in one sitting, so I like to keep up consistent revision (e.g. everyday or every few days) in the lead up to my exams

tbh I am still on the search for the 'best' study method for myself, and I definitely don't execute all those tips I've mentioned above perfectly - but these are some things that I've found to be quite good over the sems so I hope they may prove helpful to you too!
