PATH30004 - any past experiences?

I’m doing a path major next year, and thought this subject looked really interesting. I liked experimental pathology this year, but the quota of 30 sounds difficult to crack. Is there anyone on here who has done this previously and has an idea of the marks required to get in to the cohort and what the subject is like overall? Learning to be part of a research team sounds awesome!
