nah verdasco was worn out by the end of the match, so the double fault was bound to happen i guess. Although, i do think that fed v nadal will be as good if not better than this match based on the fact that their rivalry has been going on for years, it's no1 v no2 which hasn't happened in 9 years, nadal has never been in aust open finals and fed and nadal have never faced each other in aus open past semis. Can't wait. Greatest champion of all time v spanish labyrinth.

Greatest match ever. I'm sure Verdasco will be in the top 5 within a few months.

Now, I can't wait for the Fed-Nadal match. It's going to be a truly awesome match.

Very high quality match..longest match ever on record 5 hours 14 mins.
Nadal is a machine, very strong mentally.
I thought he would lose his cool when he was warned for coaching, but he kept it together.
Wonder how Nadal pulled up after that match.

Was it the longest match ever in professional tennis history? I think it was the longest Australian Open match (breaking the 1991 record). Nevertheless, good match.

The longest match ever was at the French Open between Arnaud Clement and Fabrice Santoro (6hr 33min).

That semi was the longest at the Australian Open, beating the old record by 3 minutes, iirc.
