THe kid swore again. Didn't take too long for him to get back to his antics.

“shut the f*** up” after having his serve interrupted. He fired up at the umpire’s call, questioning why he didn’t tell the crowd to earlier in the match.

Are you even watching the match? I saw it happen on TV and whilst he could've had a better choice of words, the crowd was being noisy as he was trying to serve and the umpire took his sweet time to address it. I also don't think its unreasonable to question why it wasn't addressed swiftly. More media pressure on an Aussie player.

Clearly you have some Kyrgios hate going on here :P You might as well link Tomic's incident here too?

I'm done with Tomic lol

Slightly better behavioured, he is an idiot for just tanking matches, not participating and in general .. being in it for the money.  I'm ashamed that those two are representing Australia :P.

LOL @ Tomic, maybe he can count more millions if he wins more

I don't know how some people grew up to have such intolerance to anger/misbehaviour :p (maybe it's just because I have a fair bit of experience with people like that or I was one of them)

Kyrgios behaviour is fine to me except if he sledges other players or tanks matches. The only thing I find concerning is that he sometimes admits to preferring to be on the basketball court .

Many American tennis players have attitude and behavioural issues,  the public are still behind them. Australian people are harsh. Many sports people have had anger issues and have still been successful.  Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Andre Agassi, Andy Murray, John Mcenroe, Jelena Ostapenko....

How do you know that Kyrgios won't either? Murray,  Agassi, Ostapenko and Mcenroe's anger issues started when they were teenagers. Many American players-Jack Sock, Ryan Harrison have barely won anything major in singles tennis.

If you have issues with Kyrgios, why do you like Bouchard?

I was at Krygios' match this evening and the crowd was annoying AF.  Bunch of 18 year old ****heads making whoooOOOP noises non-stop.  Can't blame Kyrgios for flipping his shit (and surprised it didn't happen again).

everyone you mentioned had won somethiing proper by the time they were 20 (apart from murray who had to face fed/nadal in their primes but still made a final)

i don't really have "issues" with Kyrgios I don't really don't care what he does on or off the court I just don't like him LOL

As for bouchard, I even like floyd mayweather not sure how worse it can get from that tbh

I think Alex De Minaur will definitely be someone to watch in the coming years! He did a great job at the Brisbane and Sydney Internationals - and I really hope he can make it through the first round against Berdych (although it will probably be a challenge). Nevertheless, he clearly has a shitload of potential and seems very self-disciplined and humble.

Regarding Kyrgios, I feel like he has really copped it in the media. Obviously he's behaviour has been poor at times, but the media have really publicised and scrutinised every mistake he has made, without considering:
1) His point of view and the circumstances surrounding his behaviour, and
2) The fact that there are plenty of other athletes who have displayed poor behaviour, especially when they were younger. For example, Lleyton Hewitt was quite immature and had his moments when he was younger.

I'm not saying Kyrgios' behaviour is excusable, but I think it's important to consider the above, and remember that the media's portrayal of him is almost always going to be biased and negative. E.g. I only saw two minor articles about Kyrgios starting a Foundation for underprivileged youth; but see plenty of repeats of Kyrgios' outbursts on the TV.

Nice comeback from Alex De Minaur, after being one set down, to take the second set. Federer looking really good as he is headed towards taking the second set, to go two up in his title defence. Go Fed go!!

Looks awesome, probably support Kyrgios simply because he's an Aussie, but I am still not a fan of his hissy fits.

The Fedal machine rolls on, but I cannot believe that these guys are all coping in the heat it's ridiculous. I read that the temp in the stadium during the Djokavic-Monfils game reached 60 degrees ????? Crazy.

He has improved significantly. Look at his past couple of matches. That code violation he received in round one was the result of a justified mini-outburst.. apart from that he's been quite good and much more mature than track record. Anyone who says he hasn't improved hasn't watched his recent tennis or just follows the media like a sheep.

Good win by Kyrgios. Hope he continues to steamroll through. Dimitrov's going to be a tough one

Yep. They shouldn't be allowed to play in extreme heat like that. That's bloody ridiculous.

Hard to talk shit on Kygrios after a win like that...

Hope he gets over Dimitrov and has a red hot crack at the second half of this draw.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️
