Speed

What I struggle the most with in Maths, and all of my subjects really, is speed. The content and knowledge is all there, I just take so long to put it on paper. I recently had my chemistry HSC (accelerated), and I also couldn't do as well as I had hoped because I didn't finish the final 7 marker essay :( How can I improve this? I know you should practice- That's what I'm doing right now, but how do I practice effectively to improve my speed?

What do you reckon causes your speed issues? Is it related to stuff like handwriting, or are you just concerned at how you're probably taking longer time to process the information?

When doing Maths exercises and homework, do it under exam conditions and time pressure. If you need 20 mins to the exercise, then set 17 mins. If you keep this habit then, I believe this will solve you time management skills (and speed).
