Are you ready for back to school? 🙋

Who's keen for going back to school?

• What are your subjects for this year
• What are you most excited about
• What are you most nervous/not so keen about?

My subjects are English, Further, HHD, Legal and Psych and I'm most excited about English because it is my worst subject and I have some goals I want to achieve! I am really nervous going into 3/4 HHD without 1/2 and I know I'm going to need to really persist even if I hate the subject.

Your answers don't have to be subject-specific, for example, I'm also super excited about school sports, not because I am sporty but because its my last one!

Hey J_Rho!

Who's keen for going back to school?

• What are your subjects for this year
• What are you most excited about
• What are you most nervous/not so keen about?

My subjects are Chemistry, English, French, Methods and Specialist. I am most excited for chemistry as the content looks so interesting and the Heinemann textbook is beautiful to read. I am also super excited for the carnivals and just in general being the oldest year level (yay, free periods!).

I am most nervous for French, it just seems impossibly difficult and I feel like anyone who gets 40s in this subject must like a super genius from a different planet  :o

No.

Just kidding (not really). I'm doing English, methods, bio and chem. I'm excited for every subject except chemistry. I'm also excited for formal and year 12 camp.

My subjects are Spec/Chem/Art/English/Physics.

I'm excited because its Year 12, its my last year of school, and because of that, there are a lot of exciting events and activities to look forward to. Also my subjects seem interesting this year.
I'm most nervous about Spec/Chem, as they're pretty annoying subjects for me to grasp.

I guess I'm somewhat keen on going back to school. Not excited, but just accepting the fact that school starts soon.

Sort of looking forward to going back to school, especially to see my friends again!

My subjects this year are PDT, English, Methods, Chemistry and Physics. The stuff I'm looking forward to is our Year 12 camp/jackets, Melb Uni's VCE Physics lectures and just doing PDT/Methods. What I'm nervous about pretty much applies to all my subjects, but it's doing alright/well during the year and then stuffing up at end of year exams.

Definitely not looking forward to waking up early though

I'm definitely not excited to go back to school! I have only just started to feel relaxed ahhh.
I'm doing English, Chemistry, Methods and Food Studies.
Chemistry is what I am looking forward to the most, as it seems the most interesting. Food studies is not too far behind it though.
Super nervous about methods. I can't remember anything from 1/2 (which I barely did), and I didn't do any prep for it over the holidays.

We are in the same boat. Except I did do 1/2 (as in ever question the teacher set) but I’m even further behind than people who just showed up to class😂. I went over quadratics and that’s it.....good luck to us!

Yeah, I'm super excited for school! I'm excited to finish Year 12, our final year of schooling, and go to university and venture into the big world! It's scary and exciting at the same time.

My subjects are Literature, Psychology, Specialist Maths and Chemistry. I'm most excited about seeing my capabilities for my different subjects and how well I do and whether my mindset towards study actually changed. If it did, I want to see if it worked!

I'm nervous about the final exams. for all my subjects  :o
I think I'm most nervous for Specialist Exam 2 and Literature because in the past years, the exams have been one hour apart from one another and so there's a good chance it'll be the same this year. And, they're the subjects I find the hardest so...yeah.
But, it's okay. I'll have the whole year to master my skills!  ;D

Who's keen for going back to school?

Haha, nope! I'm very much enjoying my break and I still have a lot more things I would like to do. But alas, school is quickly approaching. At least I have until the 3rd! ;D

Who's keen for going back to school?

What are your subjects for this year
3/4 Bio (whoop whoop), Literature, Food Tech (another massive plus), Chemistry, Methods and Spesh

I've actually been really suprised by how much I am enjoying chemistry. It's been really good. So far food tech has been a little dissapointing; I think because I'm surrounded by people who couldn't care less about school or doing well, but I'm enjoying the cooking and the content is bearable. Every time I open my maths books, a little more of my soul dies. I'm not sure why, but solving sets of four simultaneous equations for four variables using elimination (by hand) just feels like a waste of trees. Like a big waste of trees.

Who's keen for going back to school?

What are you most excited about?
Seeing my friends when I go back to school.
A new year with new teachers. (I think I'm really going to like my lit teacher.)
Finally being a VCE student. Although that also makes me nervous.
Youth group and debating starting up again.
Making bomb school lunches.

Who's keen for going back to school?

What are you most nervous/not so keen about?
Struggling to make my energy stretch everywhere I want/need it to.

Your answers don't have to be subject-specific, for example, I'm also super excited about school sports, not because I am sporty but because its my last one!
What's fun about the last school sports? Are there special things for Year 12s to do?

Oooo, did you end up switching to food studies 1/2? What made you change from texts and traditions?

I'm doing 3/4 Methods, and 1/2 Bio, English, Aus+Global Politics, Indonesian and Chem.

I'm pretty excited about having spare periods and being in the school production.

I'm nervous about Methods because it's not like I did great last year and I have to it through Webex. I'm doing one of my subjects through VSV and I haven't heard many positive things about it. I also want to go for School Captain but I'm not very popular sooo... yeah.

Thats awesome, are you hoping to go to uni? What do you want to study (if you know)?

No.

Yes! Getting back into the rhythm of school again is so GOOD! I love the holidays but hate that you lose the 'rhythm' of things

Whats PDT? Where are you going for yr 12 camp? I can definitely relate to not wanting to wake up early!

Just think, next summer holidays we won't have to worry about school!
What are you hoping to do after school? Are you doing chem as its a prereq to something or cause you enjoy it?

Yeah, I'm super excited for school! I'm excited to finish Year 12, our final year of schooling, and go to university and venture into the big world! It's scary and exciting at the same time.

Oh wow that's awesome that you don't start back till the 3rd!! I go back on the 29th :'(
It sounds like youve got some awesome subjects, and its great you're enjoying chem! Seeing friends and new teachers are awesome! There are so many good things about going back to school.
The last school sports are fun cause we dress up in super silly costumes in our house colours like muck up day but colour themed (think fat suits, and telletubby costumes) We all enter into the 100m which is a bit of a tradition and super funny for the rest of the school cause its so stupid.
What are your favourite things to make for school lunch?

What are you doing for the school production? What subject is your favourite? Surely school captain isnt decided by your peers/popularity?
