2 quick questions

Just to double check about 2 requirements.

1: with amplifier questions, when its asking for the GAIN ONLY(Not the magnitude of the GAIN), do I give the "negative" sign if it is invers?

2: with the ratio questions, if there somehow appeared to having a "negative" ratio on one side, do I ignore the "negative" sign and leave a postive ratio answer?

Thank you for helping...

1. My Physics teacher said to put the negative sign in brackets, but you won't penalized for not having the negative sign

2. I don't know wat ratio this is =/

I was told it doesnt matter but its best to put a modulus sign in your workings and give your answer as positive as gain is a magnitude only?
